Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Interpret design/drawings for craft workers installing material to ensure specifications are followed.
• Interface with on-site departments to resolve problems and support project schedule.
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems and errors to verify compliance.
• Prepare and disseminate documentation records such as status reports and punch lists.
• Provide technical support regarding project material controls to minimize costs.
• Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, and estimates.
• Provide building control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and installation.
• Develop data including quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per hour, and equipment.
• Research historical data to develop guidelines for future estimates.
• May supervise project staff and participate in client/project meetings.
