Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or equivalent.
• 2+ years estimating experience; prior take-off and project engineering background.
• Strong math, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend and administer a safety program to meet Granite’s incident goals.
• Promote environmental policies and ensure compliance and mitigation.
• Build a quality culture to deliver pride‑worthy product.
• Analyze and compile estimate data affecting labor, materials, and location.
• Review drawings and site conditions; incorporate field input into estimates.
• Evaluate alternate methods to improve bid competitiveness.
• Review take-off quantities for data accuracy.
• Use cost history to validate estimates.
• Present risks and bid strategy to Senior/Chief Estimator.
• Coordinate with field ops at pre-con meetings about scope.
