Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Industrial Commercial Energy group in Pittsburgh. You should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (freshman or sophomore preferred) and must have a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred. You will perform a variety of tasks under senior engineers, including data analysis of rainfall and flow data, obtaining

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Freshman or sophomore status preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Perform data analysis of rainfall and flow data.
• Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Coordinate with planning, design, hydraulic and hydrology departments.
• Communicate effectively with staff and clients.
