Job summary

Geosyntec offers an Intern/Co-Op position in Civil/Environmental Engineering in our Pennington, NJ or Bloomfield, NJ offices. The role runs ~13–15 weeks for Spring 2027, with possible rotations. You will apply academic knowledge to real-world projects and gain business skills for consulting.

Responsibilities include field sampling, technical writing, and data analysis, with opportunities to drive to project sites and work with a team of engineers and scientists.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant engineering discipline (required).
• Degree focus in civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, or water resources is preferred.
• Upper division or Master’s enrollment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling, stormwater inspections, and drilling/oversight.
• Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based tools.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specs, and proposals.
