Job summary

Apex Companies LLC (Apex) is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineering Co-op to gain hands-on experience across water, environment, and infrastructure projects. The role is based in our Quincy, MA and Woburn, MA offices, with work primarily in-office and field components as schedule allows.

Co-op students will assist design, permitting, and construction administration activities, with GPS field work when required. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or completed civil engineering coursework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and GIS software preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must possess solid technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with design, permitting, and construction administration activities.
• Assist with field observations and GPS tasks as required.
• Contribute to project documentation and coordination across offices.
