Job summary

McMahon Associates, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to draft survey and civil engineering plans, including residential site plans, commercial/industrial sets, and subdivision layouts using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D.

You will also handle light administrative tasks and collaborate with project teams to keep milestones on track. Minimum qualifications include basic AutoCAD drafting ability, a 2-year or technical degree (or in progress), and 2+ years of civil drafting experience with Civil

Qualifications

• Basic AutoCAD drafting ability required.
• 2-Year degree, technical degree, or schooling in progress.
• 2+ years of civil drafting experience utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D required.
• Knowledge of Land Surveying preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and Office 365 products.

Responsibilities

• Draft survey and civil engineering plans including residential site plans, commercial/industrial plan sets, and subdivision plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist with miscellaneous administrative office tasks such as filing and taking calls; coordinate with team members to keep multiple projects on track.

Job description

Engineering Technician duties include drafting survey and civil engineering projects, including residential building site plans, commercial/industrial plan sets, and subdivision plan sets utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D. Additional duties include miscellaneous administrative office work such as filing, taking calls, working with team members to get projects completed in a timely manner; this will mean working on multiple projects within any given day.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic AutoCAD drafting ability is required.
• 2-Year degree, technical degree, or schooling in progress.
• 2+ years of civil drafting experience utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D required.
• Knowledge of Land Surveying preferred
• Proficient skills with Excel and other Office 365 products
