Job summary

Metric Geo in Rockville, MD is seeking a Civil Engineering Team Leader (PE) to guide a growing land development group. You will oversee multifamily, residential, mixed-use and commercial projects and act as primary client liaison.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, MD P.E., 8–15 years of civil engineering experience, and 1–2 years in leadership or PM roles, with strong business development and mentorship responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and MD P.E. licensure required.
• 8–15 years in civil engineering for land development (residential, mixed-use, commercial).
• 1–2 years in project management or leadership preferred.
• Strong business development and client communication skills.

What we’re looking for:

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field and registered P.E in MD
• 8-15 years of experience in civil engineering in land development ( residential, master-planned, mixed-use)
• 1-2 years in Project Management or a leadership role is preferred
• Experience with municipal and country project coordination is preferred
• Strong business development; a book of business is preffered
