Job summary

Ciorba Group, Inc. is seeking summer interns for 2027 to gain hands-on civil engineering experience.

Selected students will be paired with a licensed engineer and participate in both office and field work across our Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, and Indianapolis, IN locations. Interns should be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, or recent graduates planning to start a Master’s program.

Qualifications

• A rising sophomore, junior, or senior in an accredited civil engineering bachelor’s program or a new graduate planning to start a Master Program in civil engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of engineering concepts.
• Strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Some experience with CADD, other engineering software and previous work experience will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pair with an experienced engineer to build essential, hands-on skills and help transition to a professional career.
• Engagements will include office and fieldwork with a broad, well-rounded learning experience.
• Interns will get involved in teamwork and a variety of projects across locations.
