Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Participant through our DOD SkillBridge Program. This 3-month immersive experience enables service members to work with experienced civil engineers on real projects, applying newly acquired skills to deliver community infrastructure outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration, hands-on design and field work, with opportunities to grow within a respected firm that supports military talent and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before separation date.
• Must have the ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of civil engineering and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and own transportation; travel may be reimbursed.
• Relocation and housing are not included; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist on civil engineering projects with tasks involving planning and design.
• Assist with preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation and staking and administration duties.
• Some internships may include design calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
