Job summary

DCI Engineers in Spokane, WA is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site development and civil engineering projects, mentor junior engineers, and build lasting client relationships. You will apply your civil engineering degree and hands-on experience to drive complex building projects from concept through construction.

You will collaborate across teams, develop workload projections, prepare proposals and contracts, and coordinate with BIM Designers and contractors to ensure

Qualifications

• 5 years of civil engineering project management experience.
• PE license is required.
• Civil Engineering degree from ABET-accredited university.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and civil engineering projects.

• Oversee site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, road design.
• Provide construction support and review submittals.

Ready to take your engineering career to the next level? DCI Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager in our Spokane, WA office. You’ll apply your civil engineering degree and hands-on experience to lead complex building projects, mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams, and develop lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Do

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will lead site development and civil engineering projects, including:

• Develop, coordinate, and direct the production of engineering project documents
• Prepare fee proposals and contracts
• Develop workload and scheduling projections for project staff
• Oversee and perform site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, and road design (including profile layouts)
• Perform or oversee construction support services
• Review submittals, prepare technical reports, perform routine conveyance calculations, and write observation reports
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams to coordinate design details and construction document requirements
• Review completed drafting and communicate with contractors during construction
• Evaluate additional service requests, review billing, and coordinate permit responses and construction support

To succeed as a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you should bring the following skills and experiences:

• 5 years of civil engineering project management experience
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers
• Desire to build strong client relationships and provide excellent service
• Effective communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university
• PE license required
