Actalent is hiring a Civil Engineering Project Manager/PE in the Dallas, TX area. The role leads development plans, permitting, and coordination with municipal and developer stakeholders for industrial, commercial, and residential sites.

The position requires 5–8+ years of civil land development experience, strong project management skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Onsite work in Dallas with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• PE License (or ability to obtain) preferred.
• 5+ years civil engineering in land development.
• Experience in planning, design and project management.

• Lead planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems.
• Create and run hydraulic models for water/sewer systems; simulate scenarios.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel effectively.
• Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Teach and mentor design staff to assist project design.
• Manage and develop projects with strong attention to deadlines.

Job description

Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager / PE

Job Description

The Civil Project Manager/PE will be leading the development of plans, permitting processes, and contacts (both municipal and developer side) for industrial, commercial, and residential land development projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.

Responsibilities:

• Support project management activities, including project scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants to ensure project success.
• Ability to lead the planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems
• Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations as needed
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Word and MS Excel
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to teach and train design engineering staff to better assist in project design
• Proficiency in design, development and management of projects
• Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
