Actalent is seeking a Civil Engineering Consultant for a long-term utility infrastructure project in Paulding County, GA. The role focuses on QA/QC of residential and commercial water systems and reports to the Project Manager within the Water Resources Engineering Group.

Join a hands-on team of 2-3 technicians working outdoors, with a contract-to-hire path after 10-12 months. This onsite position emphasizes reliability, adaptability, and collaboration across civil engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Field Technician.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience in utility engineering, specifically water, wastewater, and water systems.
• Proficiency in subsurface underground utility engineering with a focus on water.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

You will work in teams of 2-3 Engineering Technicians, each led by a Lead Engineering Technician. The role involves outdoor work, requiring adaptability to weather conditions. The position offers a 10-12 month contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a permanent member of the water resources team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
