Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to establish and build a Civil Engineering Practice in our Sacramento office. You will lead efforts in identifying growth opportunities, spearhead business development and marketing, and implement strategies to ensure client satisfaction and sustainable growth. Collaboration with other practices within CEC will be essential to provide integrated client solutions.

The pay range for this position is between $124,000-224,000, depending on experience and location. CEC also offers overtime pay and other benefits.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years' experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• California Professional Civil Engineer License
• Local connections and/or an existing professional network with developers, architects, businesses, clients, regulatory agencies, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience preparing engineering plans for permitting and construction, with the ability to work with regulatory agencies for project approvals
• Strong networking skills and ability to develop client relationships
• Technical oversight and project management experience, including quality reviews of design aspects such as site layouts, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and supporting calculations
• Leadership in recruiting, mentoring, and developing diverse professional staff to deliver comprehensive client services
