Langan seeks a Practice Leader - Civil Engineering to join our Tyler, Texas team. You will lead design, permitting, and client development for premier land development projects, collaborating with top leadership to drive growth and project success.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, a PE license, and strong leadership in site/civil disciplines, with a focus on client engagement and project delivery. Tyler-based position with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of land development/site/civil engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering license.
• Strong client development and management abilities.
• Experience leading design, permitting, and staffing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
• Develop growth plans, oversee staff utilization and office leadership.
• Lead staffing and hiring initiatives for the Inland Empire office.
• Identify and pursue new clients; attend business development meetings.
• Oversee junior staff; coach and motivate Site/Civil staff.
• Lead site/civil design from concept to completion.
• Lead storm water management design and SWPPP design.
• Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering.
• Performs other duties as requested.
