Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks a Project Manager (PE) to lead our team in Tampa or Lakeland, FL. The PM will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk, manage subs and permits, and serve as the primary client contact for successful project delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering or Architecture, PE license, 5+ years in A/E/C, and proficiency with Smartsheet and Power BI; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture required; MBA preferred.
• Active professional licensure (e.g., P.E., RA, P.S.M.).
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project production, delivery, and routine client updates.
• Build and maintain the project plan with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage contract/EWA scope and fee negotiations with clients.
• Create and maintain Smartsheet; align with financial reporting.
• Lead production team; coordinate with subcontractors and DOA.
• Track labor budget vs actual; manage variances and EWAs.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and escalate strategic items.
• Prepare pre-bills and billing notes; support collections.
• Maintain project files and capture lessons learned.
