Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks a Project Manager (PE) to lead projects in Tampa or Lakeland, FL. This role focuses on scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination across a production team and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Architecture, PE or equivalent licensure, and 5+ years in the A/E/C sector; MBA preferred. Expect a competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture required; MBA preferred for advancement.
• Active professional licensure (e.g., P.E., R.A., P.S.M.) expected or highly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in the A/E/C industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project production, delivery, and routine client updates.
• Build and maintain the project plan incorporating scope, schedule, and budget.
• Responsible for EWAs scope and fee preparation and negotiation with client.
• Create and maintain Smartsheet and ensure alignment with financial reporting.
• Lead a production team through weekly project reviews, task assignments, and mentoring; ensure coordination.
• Track planned labor budget vs actual labor burn weekly; manage variances and EWAs/ETCs.
• Serve as the day-to-day client contact; escalate items and support upsell conversations; coordinate with PFA/PC.
• Prepare pre-bills, progress updates, and billing notes; assist collections to keep AR current.
• Enforce safety and DOA; maintain project files; capture lessons learned.
