Job summary

IMEG Corp is hiring a Civil Engineering New Graduate in Hartford, CT for Summer 2027. The entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship and training.

You will assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, report writing, and site drainage and grading designs while supporting project budgets. You will contribute to transportation, planning, and landscape architecture across Connecticut and the Northeast, under the ONE IMEG culture and ESOP

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to complete training quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team member with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to travel up to 5% and pursue internship experience is preferred.
• Desire to progress toward EIT license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, and report writing.
• Support permit applications and site drainage and grading designs.
• Contribute to water and sewer system design and project execution.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals.
• Stay aligned with project budgets and schedules and document decisions.
