BHI is seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Manager to plan and design counts of moderate to complex projects while leading an engineering team to achieve project goals. The role is based in Vernal, Utah.

The position offers a negotiable salary, benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k with match, and PTO. PE license + 7+ years of experience preferred and AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering with a PE license and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Client & Regulatory Management: Experience managing public/private clients and navigating permitting processes.
• Leadership & Autonomy: Ability to lead engineering teams and manage workloads and schedules.
• Business Development & Project Operations: Ability to develop proposals, scopes of work and manage sub-consultants.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient with project management tools and Civil Design Software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a civil engineering team on moderate-to-complex projects.
• Coordinate with owners, sub-consultants and permitting jurisdictions.
• Perform engineering calculations, develop construction plans and models.
• Oversee business development tasks and prepare cost proposals.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and governmental regulations.
