Job summary

BGE, Inc, a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm, seeks a Civil Engineering Licensed PM - Site Development to lead complex multi-family, commercial, industrial site projects in Houston. You will manage plans, specifications, and client interfaces, ensuring quality from concept through construction.

The role requires a Texas-registered P.E., 8+ years of site development and project management experience, and proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Texas-registered Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience in site development for commercial/industrial/multi-family projects.
• 8+ years of Project Management experience with technical guidance to Engineers and CAD Designers.
• Solid working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, StormCAD or similar modeling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects in developing plans and specifications for multi-family, commercial/retail, industrial, and other site development items (paving, grading, drainage, water/sewer).
• Interface with clients as needed.
• Oversee work of Engineers and CAD Designers to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Prepare and deliver project management reports.

Job Description

• Responsible for managing projects in the development of plans and specifications for multi-family, commercial/retail, industrial and other types of projects that include paving, grading, drainage, water lines, sanitary sewers and other miscellaneous items.
• Interface with clients as needed.
• Manage the work of Engineers and CAD Designers ensuring the accuracy and quality of the work produced.
• Responsible for project management reporting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registered P.E. in Texas
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering for commercial, industrial, or multi-family site development that includes paving, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, etc.
• 8+years of experience as a Project Manager with the ability to provide technical guidance to Engineers and CAD Designers.
• Solid working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or other modeling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
