Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager in Houston to lead multi-family, commercial, and industrial site development projects. You will manage project teams of engineers and CAD designers, interface with clients, ensure quality and reporting, and apply Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, and StormCAD to deliver plans and specifications.

A Texas-registered P.E. with 8+ years of PM experience is required; the position offers comprehensive benefits and a strong career-growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Texas P.E. licensed.
• 8+ years civil/site development experience (multi-family, commercial/industrial).
• 8+ years PM experience with leadership of Engineers/CAD Designers.
• Proficient with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, StormCAD.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Responsible for managing projects in the development of plans and specifications for multi-family, commercial/retail, industrial and other types of projects that include paving, grading, drainage, water lines, sanitary sewers and other miscellaneous items.
• Interface with clients as needed.
• Manage the work of Engineers and CAD Designers ensuring the accuracy and quality of the work produced.
• Responsible for project management reporting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registered P.E. in Texas
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering for commercial, industrial, or multi-family site development that includes paving, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, etc.
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager with the ability to provide technical guidance to Engineers and CAD Designers.
• Solid working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or other modeling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
