Job summary

Olsson’s Traffic & Technology team offers an engineering student internship in Overland Park, KS. You will work on traffic design, CAD plans, and related studies under guidance, gaining hands-on experience that complements coursework.

You will contribute to signals, roundabouts, pavement markings, and temporary traffic control, with opportunities to travel to job sites for field observations as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering and eager to apply classroom learning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CAD software and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in CAD plan creation and traffic design tasks.
• Support traffic operations, signal timing studies, and related analyses.
• Travel to job sites for field observation as projects require.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver accurate project documents.
