Job summary

CORRE, inc. in Appleton, WI seeks a highly motivated civil engineering or civil technician co-op to contribute to on-site inspections, CAD drafting, and survey support on multiple projects. The role may include overtime; relocation and housing are not provided.

You must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer and sponsorship is not offered. Candidates should be prepared for travel to field offices and job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with State DOT and local agency procedures for construction and design.
• Experience using Microstation/AutoCAD or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to provide own reliable transportation.

Description

• Perform on-site inspection for construction projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with project documentation.
• Utilize computer aided drafting to prepare designs and plan sheets.
• Support Engineers with day-to-day tasks associated with multiple disciplined projects.
• Assist with survey duties on construction or other projects.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
• Experience using the Microstation/AutoCAD software or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to provide own means of reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
• Prolonged periods on construction sites in all-season weather conditions
• Excessive standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain
• Pushing, pulling, and lifting of equipment or materials
• Use of a keyboard

Working Conditions

• On construction sites, in field offices, and corporate office environments as needed
• Occasional travel required for meetings, training, and events
