Job summary

CORRE, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated civil engineering or civil technician co-op. The role involves on-site inspections, engineering calculations, CAD drafting, and supporting multiple design projects. The position may include overtime; relocation and housing are not provided.

You will work with experienced engineers across various projects and assist with survey duties, gaining hands-on experience in a growing firm. Authorization to work in the U.S. and no sponsorship required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.

• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to provide own means of reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with State DOT and local agency procedures for construction and design.
• Experience with Microstation/AutoCAD or similar software.

Description

• Perform on-site inspection for construction projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with project documentation.
• Utilize computer aided drafting to prepare designs and plan sheets.
• Support Engineers with day-to-day tasks associated with multiple disciplined projects.
• Assist with survey duties on construction or other projects.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
• Experience using the Microstation/AutoCAD software or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to provide own means of reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
• Prolonged periods on construction sites in all-season weather conditions
• Excessive standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain
• Pushing, pulling, and lifting of equipment or materials
• Use of a keyboard

Working Conditions

• On construction sites, in field offices, and corporate office environments as needed
• Occasional travel required for meetings, training, and events
