Job summary

I & S Group, Inc. in Mankato, MN is offering a Civil Engineering Internship to provide hands-on experience across disciplines. As an intern you will work with mentors and learn through real projects, CAD drafting, and supervised tasks.

You will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Civil Drafting program, gain exposure to AutoCAD, and develop communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment. Housing stipends may be available for relocation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Civil Drafting or Civil Engineering program.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil drafting and modeling tasks.
• Support project teams across multiple disciplines.
• Prepare supporting drawings and documentation.
• Contribute to project meetings and reviews.

ISG is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our dynamic team for the summer. This internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in your specific engineering discipline while participating in a comprehensive professional development program.

Essential Duties and Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Civil Drafting or Civil Engineering program.
• Become familiar with and produce work using computer aided software programs such as AutoCAD.
• Be accountable to other members of the team to complete assigned tasks and recognize performance of other team members.
• Work on several projects at one time.
• Must have strong communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
