Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Dallas, TX to support the Transportation market with entry-level design and project tasks. You will assist with data collection, documentation, and preparing presentations under supervision, gaining exposure to civil engineering workflows.

Our Engineering Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This includes standard design of engineering systems, correcting and updating designs, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties as assigned. The Transportation group is responsible for the planning and design of bridges, highways, ports, rail systems, streets and arterials, trails, and pathways with additional focus on stakeholder outreach, traffic engineering, long-range planning, policy development and more.
