Job summary

ATCS is gearing up for our 2027 Summer Internship Program. We are looking for hardworking, motivated Civil Engineering Interns for full-time, hybrid roles in our 2027 summer on-site positions. Interns will be exposed to a variety of technical and administrative tasks across projects and will receive mentorship from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Previous internship experience preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for hard working, motivated Civil Engineering Interns companywide. These internships will be full-time, hybrid roles for the on-site roles for the 2027 summer.

We expose our interns to a variety of technical and administrative tasks, allowing you to be involved with several facets of various projects. The goal is to provide exposure to real world projects, as well as mentorship opportunities working alongside our talented employees.

Duties:

• Assist engineers and engineering staff in various project support roles
• Using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
• Assist in collecting, preparing, and analyzing data
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• General administrative support is required to drive projects forward
• Perform any additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering
• Previous internship experience preferred but not required
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation is a PLUS
