Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Civil Engineering program at an ABET-accredited institution.
• Completion or active pursuit of coursework related to site/civil design, land development, water resources, transportation, utilities, or related civil topics.

Responsibilities

• Assist project engineers with preparation of civil engineering plans for land development projects.
• Support site design tasks including site layout, grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility design.
• Help prepare permit application materials, exhibits, calculations, and supporting documentation for agency review.
• Assist with reviewing local ordinances, county requirements, and state regulations applicable to assigned tasks.
• Contribute to engineering reports by organizing technical information and documenting project assumptions, design criteria, and regulatory requirements.
• Work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment under guidance of experienced engineers and project managers.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
