Job summary

Granite Construction invites motivated students to join as paid internships reporting to a Construction Project Manager. The role offers on-the-job training, exposure to document control, and hands-on project support within a large infrastructure company.

You will gain experience with project data management, software like MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and collaboration across management levels while contributing to real project activities and learning the fundamentals of construction administration.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to interact with all management levels regarding project activity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project data management processes and systems.
• Provide advice and support to management for document control maintenance.
• Perform non-technical quality checks of engineering, procurement, subcontracts, supplier and third party docs.
• Distribute engineering, procurement, subcontracts, supplier and third party docs.
• Maintain master project files (electronic and paper).
• Assist in turnover and storage of project files at end of project.
