Job summary

Granite Construction offers a paid internship reporting to an assigned Construction Project Manager or Construction Manager, providing hands-on on-the-job training.

You will contribute to project data management, document control, and file maintenance while gaining exposure to management and field operations. This position supports development in engineering/construction through practical experience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Attention to detail and good professional judgment are required.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management regarding project activity.
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Primavera Contract Manager or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project data management processes and systems.
• Provide functional advice and support for document control processes.
• Perform non-technical quality checks of engineering, procurement, subcontracts, supplier, and third-party documentation.
• Perform internal and external distribution of project documentation.
• Maintain master project files (electronic and paper copies).
• Assist in turnover and/or storage of project files at end of project.
