Job summary

LandDesign in Orlando is seeking a summer 2027 Civil Engineering intern to join our Land Development team. You will support civil engineers with a broad range of project assignments, gaining hands-on experience in grading, drainage, water and sewer design.

Ideal candidates are rising juniors pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and eager to learn about land development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Rising junior pursuing a Civil Engineering degree or comparable degree from an accredited university.
  • Basic understanding of grading, drainage, water + sewer design.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Willingness to learn about land development.

Civil Engineering Intern, Land Development

Your internship search ends with us. LandDesign is currently searching for a summer (2027) Civil Engineering intern to join us in our Orlando office. As an intern, you will support civil engineers with a broad range of project assignments.

Ideals:

  • Rising junior pursuing a Civil Engineering degree or comparable degree from an accredited university
  • Basic understanding of grading, drainage, water + sewer design
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Willingness to learn about land development

All summer internship opportunities are paid, 40 hour per week positions. Anticipated start date is end of May, 2027 and runs through early August, 2027. Candidates who are interested in extended internships or co-ops should indicate their desired timeframe in their cover letter or resume.
