Job summary

LandDesign is seeking a summer 2027 Civil Engineering intern to join our Alexandria office. You will support civil engineers with a broad range of project assignments.

Candidates should be a rising junior pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, familiar with grading, drainage, water and sewer design, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Internship is paid and 40 hours per week. Anticipated start date is end of May 2027 through early August 2027; extended internships or co-ops may be possible.

Qualifications

• Rising junior pursuing a Civil Engineering degree or comparable degree from an accredited university.
• Basic understanding of grading, drainage, water + sewer design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Willingness to learn about land development.
