Martin/Martin Wyoming is seeking a seasonal intern to join our Civil Engineering team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The role offers exposure to a range of civil engineering tasks and mentorship in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to commute to Cheyenne, WY area.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Martin/Martin Wyoming, Inc. is excited to announce an opportunity for a seasonal intern to join our Civil Engineering team. This role offers a unique chance to work alongside industry experts, contribute to exciting projects, and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative setting.

We operate in a fast-paced environment and strive to support a culture that is collaborative, innovative, and creative. Each project presents unique challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer. The successful candidate will develop expertise in a broad range of civil engineering services.

Works on discipline specific tasks (i.e. accounting, engineering, marketing) assigned by supervisor. Position is seasonal, with most work occurring during the summer, and aimed at college-level students to develop experience in a specific discipline.

Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma

Working Conditions, Skills and Abilities

This position is technical in nature, working mostly inside of the office completing a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:

  • Completing repetitive movement on tasks such as using a mouse or keyboard
  • Remain stationary for long periods of time
  • Read, communicate, and document in English
  • Identify color
  • Determine and exchange accurate information
  • Occasionally move about outside of the office
  • Occasionally move or hold objects weighing up to 50 pounds
