Job summary

LJA, an employee-owned engineering firm, offers a Civil Engineering Intern program in Austin, Texas. The summer internship runs mid-May through the first week of August, is fully in-person, and is a 40-hour workweek with mentorship and real-world project exposure.

As an intern, you will perform engineering assignments under guidance, shadow operations to learn project phases, and participate in company culture, social activities and networking events.

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year of college and pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments under guidance from experienced engineers.
• Shadow operations to learn project phases and day-to-day workflows.
• Engage in unique tasks that support larger projects and exposure to engineering practices.
• Participate in culture, social events, and networking opportunities.
