Job summary

LJA invites motivated students to join its Summer Internship in the Land Development department in Houston. This full-time, in-person program runs May–August, offering hands-on project work, mentorship, and exposure to real-world engineering challenges.

Interns collaborate with experienced professionals, gain site visits, and participate in professional development sessions. The program emphasizes teamwork, learning, and contributing to client projects daily.

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year of college and pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to learn the company and industry.
• Good organizational and communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with direction from experienced engineers.
• Shadow operations and learn about project phases.
• Engage in unique assignments supporting larger projects and daily engineering activities.
• Participate in social events and learn about our sectors and services.
