Job summary

The LJA Summer Internship Program offers a fully in-person experience from mid-May through the first week of August, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. As an LJA Civil Engineering Intern, you will work alongside seasoned professionals on real projects and be integrated into a collaborative team that supports your growth and development.

• Completed at least one year of college and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Strong academic performance and motivation to gain industry experience.
• Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with direction from experienced engineers.
• Shadow operations to learn project phases and daily workflows.
• Tackle unique assignments supporting large projects and routine tasks in engineering.
• Engage in social and professional development activities within the internship program.
