Stantec is offering Summer 2027 Civil Engineering internship opportunities in Minnesota's Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Rochester. You'll join our Community Development Group, work alongside practitioners on real projects, and gain hands-on design and field exposure.

You'll assist with construction observation, CAD drafting, and reports, learn from experienced teams, and contribute to infrastructure designs while developing professional skills and networks.

Qualifications

• In progress toward earning a bachelor’s degree (minimum) in civil engineering, structural engineering, construction engineering, construction management GIS/Survey, or related field.
• Exposure to civil engineering planning, design, construction, infrastructure, hydrology, surveying and construction management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic CAD tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist with completing the civil component of projects in a design team setting.
• Perform construction observation for project compliance.
• Conduct construction administration tasks and document activities.
• Complete detailed reports as required.
• Assist with surveying/staking as needed.
• Communicate with stakeholders including clients and contractors.
• Support CAD drafting and preparation of plans and specs.
