Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team.

This hybrid position requires at least 3 days in the office weekly, with a preference for at least 3 months of engagement and a full-time commitment when possible. The intern will assist in design development, collaborate with architects and engineers, interface with clients and regulators, and support feasibility studies and documentation using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from conceptualization through completion, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate project elements.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project-related issues and ensure success.
• Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform design.
• Prepare technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
