Job summary

DB Sterlin Consultants is seeking an Engineering Intern to support civil engineering projects, including roadways, utilities, sewers and bridges. You will assist with design, schematics, models, analyses and estimates, and contribute to the preparation of technical reports and construction management tasks.

The role emphasizes basic engineering tasks, data collection, teamwork, and adherence to project deadlines, with an hourly work classification and a pay range of $22-$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of college in engineering.
• Basic engineering skills required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic fundamental design and modeling tasks.
• Participate in data research, collection, and compilation efforts.
• Analyze and correlate scientific and engineering data and recognize discrepancies in results.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, studies, and technical memoranda.
• Adhere to project deadlines and inform supervisor of difficulties.
• Report on projects to ensure a quality product is produced on schedule.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
