Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Advanced Facilities team across multiple sites including Bellevue/Seattle WA, Greenville SC, Philadelphia PA, and Omaha NE. You will work on land/site development, grading plans, and earthwork/ drainage calculations under mentorship while balancing schedule and technical quality.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Civil Engineering bachelor’s program, with internship experience preferred, and must not require visa sponsorship.

Your impact

We’re looking for a Civil Engineering Intern who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join our Advanced Facilities team in Greenville, SC, Philadelphia PA, Omaha NE or Bellevue/Seattle WA, and you’ll have the chance to work on projects for state‑of‑the‑art industrial, manufacturing and data center facilities.

During your internship you’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with our client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi‑discipline, highly interactive team will conceptualize the initial civil design for land/site development, prepare grading plans, and perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations. You’ll be surrounded by expert mentorship opportunities to help you thrive.

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $66,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
