Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to contribute to land/site development projects in a multi-disciplinary Advanced Facilities team. You’ll help with initial civil design, grading plans, and drainage calculations, while learning client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

The role offers mentorship, a hybrid work model, and exposure to state-of-the-art industrial and data center facilities. Prior internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Previous internship experience preferred.

• Conceptualize the initial civil design for land/site development, prepare grading plans, and perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations.

Join our Advanced Facilities team in Greenville, SC, Philadelphia PA, Omaha NE or Bellevue/Seattle WA, and you'll have the chance to work on projects for state-of-the-art industrial, manufacturing and data center facilities.

During your internship you'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with our client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will conceptualize the initial civil design for land/site development, prepare grading plans, and perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations. The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $66,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
