Job summary

SeamonWhiteside (SW+) invites Civil Engineering interns to join our Columbia, SC office for Summer 2027. The interns will contribute to land development projects, stormwater design, and site investigations under seasoned engineers; Fall 2026 applications are encouraged.

SW+ offers a mentorship program and professional growth opportunities, fostering collaboration across civil engineering and landscape architecture disciplines.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year by Summer 2027 and declared Civil Engineering major or related field.
• Assist with land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support design of stormwater management, grading, drainage, roads and utilities.
• Prepare engineering plans and address redlines/revisions.
• Assist with permit/submittal packages for agencies/clients.
• Participate in site visits with Construction Administration team.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with project managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Eligibility:

Students should have completed their sophomore year by Summer 2027 and have declared a major in Civil Engineering or a related field.
