Job summary

SeamonWhiteside (SW+) in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking five Civil Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to support land development projects and design teams.

You will assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D workflows, stormwater and drainage planning, grading, roadways, and utilities, while gaining mentorship and hands-on experience.

Eligibility includes sophomore standing by Summer 2027 and declared Civil Engineering or related major; office-based internship at Mt Pleasant with supportive mentorship.

Qualifications

• Sophomore status by Summer 2027 and declared Civil Engineering or related major.
• Eligibility to participate in Summer 2027 internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support the design of stormwater management, grading, drainage, roadways, and utility systems.
• Prepare engineering plans and address project redlines and revisions.
• Assist with permit and submittal packages for agencies and clients.
• Participate in site visits with the Construction Administration team.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with project managers and engineering staff.
• Support other project-related tasks as needed.
