Job summary

Stantec’s Albany, NY Transportation and Infrastructure teams are seeking an Intern/Co‑op for Spring/Summer 2027. You will work with experienced engineers to prepare contract documents and reports across civil/structural projects, including CAD tasks, drawing checks, and field observations.

Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program is required, with CAD exposure and a strong academic record. Typical office environment, some field work, and a pathway to develop practical skills,

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for civil and structural projects including traffic, planning, highway and bridge design.
• Responsibilities may include CAD work, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple calculations and/or field inspection.
