IMEG is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern in Burlington, Massachusetts. Over 10-12 weeks, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants on civil engineering analysis, design, field inspections, writing reports, preparing permit applications, and site drainage and grading designs while gaining hands‑on experience in the field.
You will support work within project budgets, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations, and contribute to municipal and environmental projects across the region. This role offers paid, mentored experience with real project work while helping deliver resilient, environmentally responsible infrastructure.

State of Massachusetts Pay Range: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
The range listed above represents the base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work location identified above at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications.
