Job summary

Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) invites a Civil Engineering Intern to support our Building Stronger Communities mission. Under supervision, you’ll assist surveying, design, and project coordination across our Site, Transportation, Structures and Water Resources services.

We seek full or part-time students pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is a plus; 30–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be a full or part time student seeking a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering fundamentals, surveying, drafting, and general civil engineering design/construction practices.
• Ability to assist in the field or on job sites.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment.
• Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new concepts.
