Job summary

Foth invites candidates for a Summer 2027 Civil Engineering Intern position at Des Moines International Airport, IA. You'll work alongside licensed engineers on aviation construction projects, performing field observations, measurements, and documentation under supervision.

Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; eligible for background check; valid driver's license. This internship provides hands-on experience in critical infrastructure and professional mentorship.

• Perform construction observation for aviation-related projects at the Des Moines International Airport alongside a team of engineers

• Engage in routine civil engineering support tasks under the direction of a licensed engineer
• Escort and observe contractors in the secure area of the airfield

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Able to pass a background check for airport security clearance
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
