Job summary

RS&H, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Aviation Infrastructure team in Ontario, CA for Summer 2027.

The role offers exposure to airfields, environmental planning, and environmental stewardship within a collaborative, project-based setting. You will work on conventional and design-build aviation projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop professional relationships while supporting multiple assignments in-office.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university.
• 2.5 GPA or above.
• Anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Must report to Ontario, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Support aviation infrastructure projects including airfields and environmental planning.
• Act as a trusted advisor within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Assist with design and documentation using Civil 3D and related tools.

Qualifications

RS&H is currently seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our team. This position will work in-office in our Ontario, California location. As part of the Aviation Infrastructure team, you'll gain great experience on a variety of conventional and design-build projects that combine innovative design with a strong knowledge of technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions.

To be successful in this internship, you must:

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Candidate must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027
• Candidate must be able to report to Ontario, CA office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or related experience
• Experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience or exposure to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars
• Specific interest in Aviation Infrastructure
