Join our Aviation Infrastructure team to gain hands-on experience on airfield projects, environmental planning, and environmental stewardship & resiliency, while mentored by senior engineers. This in-office internship requires a Civil Engineering degree pursuit (ABET-accredited) with a 2.5 GPA or higher and an anticipated graduation by December 2026 or May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
• GPA 2.5 or above; anticipated graduation December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Must be able to report to the Los Angeles, CA office; excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

RS&H is currently seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our team. This position will work in-office in our Los Angeles, California location. As part of the Aviation Infrastructure team, you’ll gain great experience on a variety of conventional and design-build projects that combine innovative design with a strong knowledge of technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions.

To be successful in this internship, you must:

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Candidate must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027
• Candidate must be able to report to Los Angeles, CA office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or related experience
• Experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience or exposure to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars
• Specific interest in Aviation Infrastructure

The typical pay rate for this position in Los Angeles is $25 $29 per hour and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
