Job summary

RS&H is seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our Ontario, CA office. You will work with the Aviation Infrastructure team on a range of design-build projects, applying innovative design with solid technical standards to meet client expectations and deliver cost-effective solutions.

The internship requires pursuing Civil Engineering in an ABET-accredited program with a 2.5+ GPA and a graduation date in Dec 2026 or May/June 2027. Office reporting to Ontario, CA is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
• 2.5 GPA or above.
• Anticipated graduation date December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Must report to Ontario, CA office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

To Be Successful In This Internship, You Must

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Candidate must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027
• Candidate must be able to report to Ontario, CA office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or related experience
• Experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience or exposure to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars
• Specific interest in Aviation Infrastructure

The typical pay rate for this position in Ontario, CA is $25 – $29 per hour and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
