The internship offers exposure to roadway, bridge, and traffic design, with collaboration across disciplines and potential for professional growth within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

  • Engineering experience is a plus, not required.
  • Graduate within 1–2 years with a BSCE in Civil/Structural Eng.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CADD software is a plus.
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain one before graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform roadway, bridge and traffic engineering design under supervision.
  • Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates with the project team.
  • Conduct site visits and perform related responsibilities.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist project engineers and managers with assignments.

The Impact You'll Make
  • Perform roadway, bridge and traffic engineering design under the direction of an experienced Project Manager.
  • Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct site visits and perform other generally accepted responsibilities associated with the position.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.
The Expertise You'll Bring
  • Experience in engineering is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Ability to graduate within 1-2 years from an accredited Engineering college program with at least a BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering is expected.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CADD software is a plus.
  • EIT certification or the ability to obtain one prior to graduation.
